The Service Technician I will perform a variety of daily tasks to ensure the safe operation of Messer owned equipment and tools. The primary responsibilities will be to safely perform equipment repairs, tool repairs and provide labor assistance to other service technicians.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures
- Perform maintenance check on rental equipment before and after use for damage, hours used, tires, mileage, fuel levels, safety decals, and safety compliance
- Perform in a safe manner, minor repairs of rental equipment and tools, including checking oil, grease, fluids, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status
- Communicate with Service Manager and/or Shop foreman equipment maintenance requirements and repair costs
- Pressure washing and cleaning of returned tools and equipment
- Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs
- Delivery / Pick-up of equipment, tools, and supplies as needed
- Keep warehouse and laydown area organized and safe
- Attend formal trainings
- And all other duties and responsibilities determined by the management of the Rental Division

Abilities:
- Possess general computer skills
- Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75lbs
